Until
TKCS designed their reporting system, all data was collected,
reported and analysed manually, which was very labour intensive
and subject to human error. The ability to provide their reports
on a timely basis to clients was very limited. Today, Turtle
Wax and their distributors are able to provide outstanding
value to their clients, while benefiting from more efficient
administration.
Field
sales representatives visit the car washes, taking measurements
of product levels, and calculating the efficiency of the machines
by comparing the number of car washes sold against the level
of product used. The measurements also verify the revenues
collected on car washes, which verify the value of remittances
that should be made to the client, as well as the cost of
doing promotions.
TKCS designed
a database with remote data-entry capabilities, increasing
the speed and accuracy of data collection. Through a series
of customized reports, in a client-ready format, TKCS provides
support in data verification, calculation and reporting. Reports
are sent back to the field reps, to head office and directly
to the client. The result is a smoother sales cycle and the
ability to provide outstanding customer service.
TKCS also
generates the monthly and quarterly reports that Turtle Wax's
distributors forward to their clients. Through this arrangement,
TKCS serves as the collection and reporting centre for consistent,
high quality reports that enhance Turtle Wax's image.
